Caucasian summer 2024
Caucasian summer 2024
Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia
The decision to go on this trip came somewhat unexpectedly. Initially, I wanted to go to Uzbekistan, but that trip was canceled at short notice. Because of a project I'm involved in, I had to find something that fitted into an unblocked time slot. Fortunately, Djoser, a tour operator I've traveled with a couple of times, has this trip to Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Armenia. It's not sold out, but with enough bookings that departure is guaranteed.
The three weeks will be spent mainly in Georgia and Armenia, but as we are flying to Baku, I'll also get a glimpse of Azerbaijan and parts of Georgia, that are often left out on trips like this.
The main focus this time will not be on photography, as many attractions are on the way, and we might not have the best light when we're there. But looking at the itineraries of some special photo tours, it might not be so different with them, either. Anyhow, I'll take what I get.
