Plitvice Lakes 2012
Written By Jürgen Blösl
Originally Freya wanted a whole week for Vienna, but Jürgen was not in the mood for that. He had to travel quite a bit lately and now was more interested in nature than culture. So we decided on a stopover on the way to the south, and a few more days at the Plitvice Lakes.
Mid-May the winter should be over, even in this slightly higher part of Croatia, and the trees bear their spring dress. Statistics tell something of 20° C and only sporadic rain. The short-term weather forecast too had the opinion that it should rain only during the days of driving. Too bad weather does not comply with statistics.
