Tamsui Customs Wharf, New Taipei City, Taiwan
First published in 2019
After visiting the main streets and markets of Tamsui I continued to walk along the riverbank of the Tamsui River. After just a few minutes I reached the Tamsui Customs Wharf.
The historical buildings themselves are nothing special. But they made the best of what they have. Today the buildings are hosting a mixture of ancient stuff, that might have been used when the wharf was active, and art exhibits from photographs to modern art. Don't miss the boat outside.
There is more around, but the weather was getting nasty and so I decided that it was time to return to the MTR and go back to Taipei.
