Wed, 15th Sept. - A lazy day in the hotel and sunset in Teide NP

I didn't sleep well this night and think it's time for a relaxing day at the hotel. I spend most of the time writing this travel report.

After an early dinner, we want to go for a sunset at the Teide NP. As we drive up the mountain, we realize that it will not work out as planned. More and more clouds are moving in. Normally this is good for sunset photos, but here the clouds are below us and the light from the setting sun is not reflected down, but the sun would have to shine through the clouds, which normally won't happen.

We stop at one of the viewpoints and take some pictures before the sun is too low. Even we know that it's useless I continue till El Portillo, but shortly after I give up and turn around to drive back to the hotel.
