Corona Tour through Germany
COVID-19 or Corona has ruined the vacation plans of many. It was no better for us.
It felt like an eternity ago that we had once again planned a vacation in the USA. This time it should go to the forests north of New York, to the Great Lakes, and to the Niagara Falls. By May at the latest, that was history.
Freya doesn't want to fly at the moment, so we take the car. The first alternative was then a combination of Austria and Slovenia. But the longer the summer lasted, the more the number of cases in the Balkans increased. At some point, Austria announced that they do not close the border to Slovenia completely, but want to make it as uncomfortable as possible to enter from this direction (on one weekend people indeed waited more than 10 hours in traffic jams).
Okay, then we'll just stay in Germany! Some two weeks should be enough to come from south to north and back again.
