Hallia Venezia in Schwäbisch Hall
Written By Jürgen Blösl
November 11th at 11:11am was the start of the new Carnival Season, a good time to show some pictures from this year's Hallia Venezia [↗].
Even if you're not an avid fan of carnival, the Hallia Venezia is well worth a visit. The performers walk slowly through the old town of Schwäbisch Hall and only express themselves through gestures - talking is not allowed.
Inspired by the carnival in Venice, a group of locals founded Hallia Venezia in 1998. The members produce the costumes and masks by themselves. In the meantime, more than 100 participants and thousands of spectators including many photographers are joining in.
The next Hallia Venezia will be on the 4th of February 2024 in the city center of Schwäbisch Hall officially starting at noon.
