BeNeLux 2019
As our Bhutan vacation was still largely based on last year's leave, at some point the question arose how we could fit this year's one into our schedule.
Even if we would have liked to avoid it: realistically, only 2 weeks in the August holiday period are left. We don't want to fly away for that and accommodation in the Alps is no longer available at reasonable prices.
Never mind, Jürgen has a list of locations that would be worth a visit. Something should be able to be put together from it.
The result is a roadtrip through Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and the bordering areas in Germany. Contrary to what we are used to from the US, the distances in this part of Europe are pleasantly short. Nevertheless, we decide to stay in one place for more than one day every now and then.
