Cathedral of Granada

Now we want to visit the cathedral of Granada.
As always, lots of gold, lots of silver, a big nave. The cathedral was built on the rests of a mosque and you can regard it as a victory monument of the Spanish, who conquered with Granada the last Moorish bastion.
Inside, the hall is structured by enormous columns and due to the many windows, the interior is relatively bright. Unfortunately, the impressive main dome is right above the blocked-off choir, so that it cannot be viewed straight from below.
