Exploring Chinese temples is always fun. There are so many details to discover and behind every corner, you might find interesting insights or perspectives. In Hong Kong, they also offer a retreat from the hectic and the noise of the city.
The western monastery (= Xi Yuen) is situated directly below the Yuen Yuen Institute. Built on a number of different levels, it has not such a long history compared to other temples. But if you are going to visit the institute make sure to reserve some time for the monastery as well.
